Easter Eggscitement #2

We had a great Easter week. Four hunts, fun with friends and family, crafts, sunshine, and lots of snuggles.

Easter Sunday we went to Sunrise service after a donut stop, went to Newport Beach and took a long walk on the beach and around the cliffs. We relaxed at home for awhile and went to Cousin Jackson's house for a big hunt.

Easter Saturday I got a job as the Easter bunny and then we dyed eggs, found eggs, and had some dance parties with my family. The boys were soo excited about their new superhero jammies and haven't wanted to take them off. 

For Good Friday we went to service at our church, which was a stations of the cross walk through. It was really neat, and Max asked a lot of questions. Then we found a ton of Wooly Bears. 

During the week we had an awesome hunt with some pals we hadn't seen in a long time. 

We also had a big hunt and party with my MomsClub. ;-) 

One of the crafts we did this week was salt art. Max loved it. You draw a picture with glue, sprinkle with salt, and then sprinkle on diluted food coloring. The color spreads, and it is super beautiful! He made four pictures! 

We also painted eggs at the park with friends. 

Another awesome activity we did was make Easter colored cornstarch paint!! Mix water, cornstarch, food coloring, and a little dish soap. The boys loved it and ended up pouring it all over the ground and stomping on it!
